He married Clarice Marion Howell December 19, 1926. Clarice was born February 15, 1909. Clarice died April 12, 1997.

Wiley Hilry Whinery and Clarice Marion Howell had the following children:

1771 i. Floyce Dean¹¹ Whinery (living).

1772 ii. Wiley Marion Whinery Jr. (living).
