He married Claudia Lorene Adcock December 19, 1930. Claudia was born November 11, 1912. Claudia was the daughter of Thomas Tennson (Tenny) Adcock and Sarah Ann Todd. Claudia died June 4, 1981. Her body was interred at Sand Hill Cemetery in Neshoba Co, MS.
