Bethel died May 5, 2001 in Seminary, Covington Co., MS. Bethel Ellzey, 87, of Seminary, died Saturday, May 5, 2001, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, at Jones Funeral Home in Moselle, with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Seminary.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Charles Ellzey of Seminary; one daughter, Bonnie Sue Stringer of Seminary; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Jones Funeral Home in Moselle is in charge of arrangements.
Bethel is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Jones Co., MS
She married twice. She married Herman Ellzey. Herman was born January 11, 1922 in Soso, Jones Co., MS. Herman died February 1984 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS. Herman is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Jones Co., MS
She married Lester Ray Wimberly. Lester was born July 22, 1909 in MS. Lester was the son of William B. lWimberly and Lucy (___). Lester died December 4,1938 in MS.
Bethel Mae Rogers and Lester Ray Wimberly had the following children:
