Elmer was the son of Abraham Henry Titus and Edna Lydia Blakely. Elmer died July 1, 1981 in Yankton, Yankton Co., SD. Elmer was buried in Springview, Keyapaha Co, NE
She married Harold Harvey Ford April 14, 1956 in Ainsworth, Brown Co., NE. Harold was born June 11, 1905 in Springview, NE. Harold was the son of Edwin Ford and Gertrude (____). Harold died February 10, 1981 in Ainsworth, Brown Co., NE. OBIT: Harold Harvey Ford was born June 11, 1905, at Springview, Ne. to Edwin and Gertrude Ford and died Feb. 10, 1981, at the Rock County Hospital at the age of 75.
He grew to manhood in Keya Paha County and was married Mar. 10, 1930, to Geneva Butcher and to them two sons were born.
He farmed most of his life in the Buffalo Flats area near Ainsworth before his retirement in October, 1968 when he moved to Long Pine. He was married to Ester Titus, Apr. 15, 1956.
Among survivors are his wife, Esther; sons, Edwin Don, Portland, Ore., Lloyd Elster, Boise, Ida.; step-children, Leland Titus, Newport, N. C.; Larry Titus, Omaha; Mrs. Donald (June) Spragg, Kansas City; Mrs. Charles (Edna Mae) Langston, Lincoln and Darlene Bammerlin, Buffalo, Okla; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Soles, Springview and Mrs. Olda Bidle, Olympia, Wa. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Raplph (Lenna) Soles.
Services were held at Hoch Funeral Home, Ainsworth, Feb. 14 with the REV. William Armold officiating. Music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fling. Pallbearers were Norman Johnson, Oren Jackman, Robert Kackmeister, Kenneth Gipson, Virgil Wyant, George Madison. Burail was in the Ainsworth Cemetery.
