Ruby died May 28, 2006 in Blount Co., TN. OBIT: Ruby White Forshee of Greenback, formerly of Madisonville, went to be with the Lord, at 1:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She was 85.
Preceded in death by: husband, Boyce (Bunt) Forshee; parents, Mack and Dollie Tallent White; sisters, Mamye Jones and Mary Ellen Cardin;brothers, an infant Fred White, Robert (Bob) White, T.G. White, Norman (Kiffie) White and Kenneth (Jack) White.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law-Brenda and GlenLett of Greenback;
Son and girlfriend-Joe Forshee and Carolyn Simerely of Farragut;
Three step-grandchildren and spouses;
Three step-great-grandchildren;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. Tommy Self and Rev. Bill White officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Saturday, in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Oak Grove Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
She married Boyce N. (Bunt) Forshee. Boyce was born April 5, 1920 in Monroe Co., TN. Boyce was the son of William Crawford Forshee and Maggie Payne. Boyce died September 30, 1992 in Madisonville, Monroe Co., TN. Boyce was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
