Jimmie died March 4, 1999 in Bold Springs, Walton Co., GA. Jimmie and Kathleen are both buried in the Bold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bold Springs, Waltonco.,GA

He married Kathleen Dean Edwards. Kathleen was born October 9, 1920 in Walnut Grove, GA. Kathleen was the daughter of Loyd Thomas Edwards and Cleo Dell Ridgeway. Kathleen died November 9, 2002 in Loganville, Walton Co., GA.

Jimmie Lewis Allgood and Kathleen Dean Edwards had the following children:

 22036 viii. Daniel Lewis Allgood was born May 23, 1958. Daniel died July 20, 2013 in Roswell, Fulton Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. Daniel Lewis Allgood, of Roswell Georgia, passed away quietly at his home on Saturday July 20, 2013, following a valiant battle with cancer. Daniel was surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Allgood, mother, Kathleen Edwards Allgood, and sister, Peggy Geiger. He is survived by Gregory Johnson, his life partner of seven years; four sisters, Alice Faye and (Jerald) Trentham, Lynn and (Huie) Still, Sheila and (Terry) Pilcher, Kathy and (Dwayne) Wilson; three brothers, Donald and (Helen) Allgood, Jerry and (Brenda) Allgood, David and (Pilly) Allgood; brother-in-law, Wendell Geiger; and numerous nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Northside chapel Funeral Directors.
