She married Era Theo Pruitt December 28,1897. Era was born June 1, 1878 in Abbeville, SC. Era was the son of William Andrew Pruitt and Mary Elizabeth Carwile. Era died June 28,1 942 in Marion Co., TX.

Emma Elizaibeth Duncan and Era Theo Pruitt had the following children:

 10228 ii. Willie Ellen Pruitt was born in Shiloh, Cass Co., TX June 24, 1903. Willie died June 12, 1995 in Cass Co., IL. She married Arthur Felton Ayers February 20, 1921 in Cass Co., TX. Arthur was born August 21,1894 in Carnesville, Franklin Co., GA. Arthur was the son of Jesse H Ayers. Arthur died August 26,1966 in Cass Co., TX.

 10229 iii. Era Theo Pruitt JR was born December 26, 1907.
