108. Bessie Jones⁵ Wood (Robert Walker⁴, Matthew J.³, Brewer², James¹) was born in Plattsburg, Winston Co, MS January 10, 1899. Bessie died May 3, 1986 in Jackson, Hinds Co, MS. Her body was interred at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS.

She married Aaron Lafayette Algood July 25, 1915 in Plattsburg, Winston County, Mississippi. Aaron was born January 9, 1890 in Plattsburg, Winston Co, MS. Aaron was the son of Rubin Asa Allgood and Susan Jane Alderman. Aaron died April 8, 1967 in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS. His body was interred at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS. Aaron L. Algood was appointed a rural letter carrier from the Plattsburg, Mississippi post office in 1918. He served there until 1923 when that post office was closed and he was transferred to the Philadelphia, Mississippi post office in that same year. He retired in 1958.

236 iii. Harvey Wood Algood was born in Plattsburg, Winston Co, MS September 5, 1920. Harvey died February 11, 1924 in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS. His body was interred at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS. Never married.
