He married Emma Genetta Alderman January 9, 1898. Emma was born September 28, 1877 in Leake Co, MS. Emma was the daughter of David James Alderman and Mary Catherine Yates. Emma died October 26, 1957. Her body was interred at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS.
