She married Dee Elry Johnson August 7, 1901 in Neshoba Co, MS. At age 14, Orra eloped. Out a window and away on a horse.

Dee was born May 8, 1876. Dee died February 14, 1940. His body was interred at Oak Grove Cemetery in Neshoba Co, MS.
