He married twice. He married Sarah (___). He married Thelma Tibbs. Thelma was born 1928. Thelma was the daughter of Fred Tibbs and IRma (___). Thelma died March 2, 2013 in Hattisburg, Forrest Co., MS. OBIT: Thelma Allgood, 85, of Hattiesburg died Saturday March 2, 2013 at Forrest General Hospital. Graveside services will be Tuesday March 5, 2013 at Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Allgood was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Irma Tibbs; four brothers; one son, Charles E. "Chuck" Allgood Jr.; and one granddaughter, Billie Jean Allgood.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Allgood Jones of Prentiss; three grandsons, Charles Jones, Chad Allgood, and Colton Allgood; two granddaughters, Keri Matheus, and Brittain Allgood; and four great grandchildren, William Matheus, Jonathan Matheus, Jessica Sandifer, and Cheyenne Sandifer.
Charles Edwin Allgood and Thelma Tibbs had the following children:
