Sara died March 9, 2011 in Jackson, HInds Co., MS. OBIT: Sara Ann Allgood, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mrs. Allgood was born in Union, MS April 18, 1926, the 13th child of John & Jenny Butts. She was a homemaker having lived in the Terry area for 47 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Lonnie (Buck) Allgood. Survivors include her son Jimmy Allgood (Dianne); daughters Jackie Walker (Joe), Linda Warren and Denise Allgood Hofmann (Don); brother Dub Butts; sister Lillian Butts; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
