Linden died March 28, 2014 in Olivehurst, Yuba Co., CA. OBIT Linden Gibbs Linden JR GibbsWas born on July 31, 1938 to Roe H. Gibbs and Eva Jane Gibbs. He died in his sleep on March 28, 2014.He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Peggie) Gibbs of Olivehurst; sons, Jerry Clayton of Tuscon, AZ, Larry (Rusty) Gibbs, Robert J. Gibbs and Edward Maples of Olivehurst; daughter, Karla Gibbs of Olivehurst; brothers, Frank R. Gibbs of Olivehurst and R. Dean Gibbs of Marysville; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Roe and Eva Gibbs; brothers, William H. Gibbs and Billy W. Gibbs.He served in the Navy as a young man, then went into construction work with the Laborers Union Local 154 until he had to retire with back problems. He was a lifetime member of Lindhurst Moose Lodge 454 and was a past Governor of the Lodge.Services will be held at Sierra View Memorial Park on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. followed by graveside services. A gathering will follow at the Lindhurst Moose Lodge, 1775 Beverly Ave, Olivehurst.
