Randy died January 27, 2006 in Jerseyville, Jersey Co., IL. OBIT: JERSEYVILLE Randy P. Hill, 44, died at 10:09 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.
He was born Sept. 15, 1961, in Clarksdale, Miss., to James Terrell and Mary Janette (Allgood) Hill Ebbler. They are deceased.
His wife is the former Michele "Mick" Dabbs, his high school sweetheart, who he lovingly called "Dumpers." They were married Oct. 24, 1981, in Godfrey.
He owned and operated Hill’s Appliance Service since 1985 and coached hockey for the Jersey Community High School Panthers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Cornerstone Class of the church. He was an avid sports fan for the University of Illinois and a member of Friends of Bill W. He was a friend to all and a stranger to none.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Nathan Hill of Champaign, Ill., and Dallas Hill of Springfield, Ill.; two grand dogs, Libby, his faithful companion, and Bailey; one brother and his wife, Wayne and Alicia Hill of Godfrey; grandmother, Annie Bell Allgood of Jerseyville; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Sandy and Denny Bohannon of Dow and Candy and Denny Tepen of Godfrey; one brother-in-law and his wife, Bobby and Sherrey Dabbs of Grafton; numerous nieces and nephews; and special parents, Snooks and Norma Goheen of Godfrey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and will continue from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Jerseyville. The Revs. Ed Haun and Allen Ebbler will officiate.
Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.
Randy Paul Hill and Michelle Lee Dabbs had the following children:
