Jo died April 8, 2002 in Houston, Harris Co, TX. Jo Ann Martin 58, of San Angelo died Monday morning, April 8, 2002, in a Houston Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
She was born June 9, 1943, in San Angelo, Texas. She worked for 21 years at Ethicon before her retirement.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Francis Strother officiating.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Martin and daughter, Lori Martin.
She is survived by her son, David Martin and wife, Justine, of Houston; three grandchildren, Cassie, Cody, and Conner Martin; her mother, Marie Hogue; three sisters, Martha Upshaw, Dixie Sloan, and Penny Hogue of San Angelo; and one brother, Weldon Hogue of San Angelo.
The family would like to thank Dr. Raj Cheruku, and his nurses for their wonderful care. Memorials may be sent to the National Cancer Society.
She married Clarence Riley Martin. Clarence was born June 6, 1931. Clarence died May 30, 1987 in San Angelo, Tom Green Co., TX.
Jo Ann Gail Hogue and Clarence Riley Martin had the following children:
