Sylvia died May 31, 2010 in Bloomburg, Cass Co., TX. OBIT: Sylvia Joyce Gibson Howe is survived by her husband, Jack Howe of Bloomburg, Texas; mother, Nadine Gibson of Atlanta, Texas; daughter, Vickie Langston and husband Robert of Queen City, Texas; two step-daughters, Jadeana Wix of Westmoreland, Tennessee and Tonya Edwards of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; one sister, Modine Spruell of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her father, J. A. Gibson; two sons, Michael James and Kevin James; and a brother, Johnny Gibson.
She was retired from Wadley Regional Medical Center and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Bloomburg, Texas.
She married twice.
Sylvia Joyce Gibson and Paul David James had the following children:

35963 ii. Kevin Dale James was born in Marion Co., TX January 24, 1960. Kevin died January 13, 1980.
35964 iii. Micheal David James was born in Marion Co., TX November 26, 1960. Micheal died November 30, 1993.
