Mary Elizabeth Beth¹¹ Goldin (Robert Battey¹⁰, Sarah (Sallie) Suzanne (Louisiana)⁹ Hutcheson, Ellen (Ellender)⁸ Hogue, Sarah (Sally) Hudson⁷ Allgood, William A.⁶, John Young⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Rockmart, Polk Co., GA December 25, 1921. Mary died September 6, 2006 in Rockmart, Polk Co., GA. Obit: Mrs. Mary Beth Goldin Hogg, 84, 143 Howard Street, Rockmart, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006. Mrs. Hogg was born December 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Dr. Robert Battey Goldin and the late Estelle McBrayer Goldin. She was a retired Polk School District employee with 20 years of service, and a member of First Baptist Church of Rockmart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Henderson Hogg, Jr.; three brothers, Dr. Harold Goldin, Mr. James Goldin, and Mr. Robert B. Goldin, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Miss Anna Lisa Hindmon. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Eddie Hindmon of Aragon; a son, Henderson H. Hogg, III of Rockmart; one brother, Dr. Joel Goldin and his wife Ruth of Rockmart; sister-in-law, Mrs. Geroline Goldin of Dothan, AL; two grandchildren, Fran Smith and her husband Bryan, and Neil Hogg and his wife Marie; three great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Hogg will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Rockmart with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Jason Hudgins officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Rose Hill Cemetery. The following have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Lee Weaver, Hal Goldin, Dr. George Goldin, Joel Goldin, Jr., Ed Graves, and Ricky Weaver. Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

She married Henderson Hurst Hogg JR October 18, 1952. Henderson was born Septembe 12, 1922 in Cedartown, Polk Co., GA. Henderson was the son of Hendrson Hurst Hogg and Frances West. Henderson died May 1974 in Cedartown, Polk Co., GA.

Mary Elizabeth Beth Goldin and Henderson Hurst Hogg JR had the following children:
