He married Helen Patricia Copeland 1928. Helen was born Augusst 20, 1910 in Walnut Grove, GA. Helen was the daughter of Wiley Augustus Copeland and Alice Kaye Upchurch. Helen died January 2, 1995 in Rome, Floyd Co., GA.

George Wesley Allgood and Helen Patricia Copeland had the following children:
