OBIT: Peggy Lou Minié, age 72, a resident of Austin for 45 years, died Friday March 26, 2004. She was born October 30, 1931, in Cleburne, Texas to Samuel Maurice Peacock and Mary Lou Dodson Peacock. Peggy's working days were spent as a Research Analyst with the Texas Employment Commission. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Kohutek, Ray H. Minié and parents, Sam and Mary Lou Peacock Survivors include her sisters, Eloise Talbot and husband, John, Priscilla Holloway and husband, Richard; nephew, Curt Hawkins and wife, Shannon; niece, Michelle Jones, great niece, Kate Hawkins; great nephew, Matthew Hawkins; beloved dog, Andi Marie and many cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Harrell Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church on Manchaca Road at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Knippa and Pastor Lentz officiating. Burial will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Curt Hawkins, Bo Brandt, John Kavanaugh, Dave Bryan, Billy Wearden and Bryant Fitzmorris - She married twice.
She married Ray H. Minié September 23,1977 in Travis Co., TX. Ray was born 1913. She married Robert Ralph Kohutek September 1,1993 in Travis Co., TX. Robert was born August 20, 1921 in El Campo, Wharton Co., TX. Robert was the son of Frank Kohutek and Emma Susan Buchanek. Robert died February 8, 2002 in Austin, Travis Co., TX.
