She married Alvah Alston Bass 1904 in Hampton, Calhoun Co., AR. Alvah was born September 5, 1883 in Caswell Twp, Calhoun Co., AR. In the 1930 census A. A, Mattie and Bama were living in Morehouse Parrish, Bastrop area. Alvah was the son of James R. Bass and Anna E. Gresham.

Alvah died April 9, 1936 in Bastrop, Morehouse Parish, LA.

Mattie Dell Allgood and Alvah Alston Bass had the following children:

9703 iii. Georgia Bass was born in DeRidder, LA June 29, 1909. Georgia died January 10 1985 in Camden, Quachita Co., AR. She married John M Morris JR 1929. John was born May 29,1909. John died November 28,1996.
