Dan died August 4, 2000 in Moreland, Coweta Co., GA. Mr. Dan A. Burnham, 79, of Moreland, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Burnham was born April 25, 1921, in Newnan. He was a 1950 graduate of Georgia Tech, and served in the United States Navy. He retired from Lockheed in 1976, and became a drug and alcohol counselor in Coweta County.
A funeral will be held Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at 2 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Barrow will officiate, and burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors this evening, Aug. 5, 2000, between 6 and 9 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Burnham; daughters, Lisa Gronsbell of Marietta and Cindy Schian of Newnan; sisters Lois Cone and Annie Jewell Martin, both of Newnan; and grandchildren Arlin and Michelle Blalock of Marietta and Dan Schian of Newnan.
He married Frances C. (_____). Frances was born March 20, 1925. Frances died May 11, 2003 in Moreland, Coweta Co., GA.
