Lawrence died October 27, 2005 in Missoula, MT. OBIT: Lee Fink age 49 passed away from complications due to MS on October 27, 2005 at St. Patrick's hospital in Missoula, Montana. Lee was born at McChord AFB on July 3rd 1956 to parents Janet Lee Jacobus Fink and Russell Lawrence Fink. He grew up in the 5th Ave SE neighborhood of Puyallup till 1964 then moved out south of Graham where the family owned and operated J & R Grocery @ 288th & Meridian for many years. Lee graduated from Bethel High in 1974. He worked at Kirk Co and then Vancouver Door both in Puyallup before going to work for Boeing Computer Services in 1980. After being diagnosed with MS in 1998, he retired from Boeing and stayed active enjoying the things he always loved to do which was to hunt, fish, shoot, ride his Harley or his Quad or do anything else outdoors. Lee loved living in Montana in their custom built log home and had many friends visit, some even taking an animal during hunting season on day hunts he guided. He considered himself fortunate indeed to have lived his dream since 2002 with Barbara in Montana. Lee was a big country music fan and had a real fondness for games of chance with a group of his close friends and was unusually lucky in his gambling endeavors much to the dismay of his buddies and local casinos. Lee is survived by his loving, caring wife Barbara and her daughters Cherie Dickson of Tacoma, Candice Navarro of Eatonville, grandson Isaiah Sparks also of Tacoma; Lee's son Joshua Fink of Roy; father Russell Fink (Mary Ann) of Casa Grande, AZ; brother Chuck Fink (Michelle) of Kapowsin; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many life long friends, all of whom will miss Lee and his genuinely distinctive character very much. Lee had a special place in his heart for his childhood friend LaDonna Whalen Mohler of Orting and his first wife Carmella Buffington Thierbach of Graham, both of whom he remained fond of and close to throughout his life's journey. He was preceded in death by his mother Janet Ross just 6 months ago. There will be a funeral service held in Hamilton, MT on Wednesday, November 2nd @ 11:00 at St Francis Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Lee's name to 5 North Unit of St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. A memorial service will be held here on Saturday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church in Parkland, followed by a life celebration at noon at the Orting Eagles. Daly-Leach Chapel & Crematory in Hamilton is handling arrangements. At his request, part of his ashes will be interred in the family plot at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma and the remainder will be spread out at his pride and joy and place of true happiness, their Shooting Star Ranch on top of the mountain near Hamilton, Montana.

He married twice.

Lawrence Lee Fink and Deborah Amell had the following children:
