She married Robert Buren Harrist May 10, 1947. Robert was born November 30, 1925 in Doddridge, Miller Co., AR. Robert was the son of B. B. Harrist and Faustine Eason. Robert died March 4, 2002 in Doddridge, Miller Co., AR.

Lucy Mae Sproles and Robert Buren Harrist had the following children:
