Ethel died April 3, 2002 in Cabool, Texas Co., MO. Obit: Ethel Jean Crawford Stark, 59, daughter of Leslie and Nancy Wake Crawford, was born April 16, 1942, at Willow Springs. She died April 3, 2002, at the home of her son at Halfway. Following her schooling, she married George Stark. They had three children. They moved to the Cabool area. The last few years, she had been in failing health. She loved collecting whatnots, having yard sales, country music and watching wrestling programs. She did sewing and went fishing. She was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Creta Jo Ellis, in 1995. Surviving are her children, George Stark of Halfway and J.D. Stark and Tammy Bowling of Cabool; two sisters, Doris Adams of Springfield and Cathy Renegar of Mountain View; three brothers, Charles Crawford of Idaho, Jack Crawford of Wichita, Kan., and J.R. Crawford of Willow Springs; and 13 grandchildren. Services were April 6 at the Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Willow Springs City Cemetery.
