Steve Morgan, 56, of Ridgetop, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Veterans Medical Center in Nashville.

Graveside services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. in Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery.

Mr. Morgan was born Aug. 8, 1947, in Davidson County.

He was a self-employed contractor and farmer.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Wilson Morgan.

Survivors include his wife, Teala Knight Morgan of Ridgetop; a son, Robby Steven Morgan of Ridgetop; a daughter, Bridgette Tate of Ridgetop; mother, Dorothy Allgood Morgan of Ridgtop; brothers, Larry Wilson Morgan of Ridgetop and Kenneth Ray Morgan of Henderonville; a sister, Charlotte Louise Morgan of Ridgetop; grandchildren, Robert Christopher Morgan, Morgan Alexus Tate, Jacob Allen Harned.

Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Robert Steve Morgan and Teala M. Knight had the following children:
