Rufus died April 6, 2002 in Hampton, Henry Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. Rufus Horace HICKS, age 76, of Hampton, passed away April 6, 2002. Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Peggy Hicks of Hampton; daughter, Donna and Bill Bray of Griffin; son, Terry and Paula Hicks of Hampton; sister, Opal Nelson of Dothan, Ala.; grandchildren Patrick Bray, Kristen Bray and Chrisopther Bray. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Dickson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, with remains in state at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Jonesboro City Cememtery.
