Leroy died January 28, 1984 in Gonzales, Ascension Parish, LA. Obit- Saturday, January 28, 1984: Wallace, The Rev. Leroy Died 12:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 1984 at East Ascension General Hospital, 'Gonzales. He was 60, a native of McComb, Miss, and a resident of Praireville. He was retired from the American Baptist Association. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, 3:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the rev. Henry Jackson. Burial in New River Baptist Cemetery, St Amant. Survived by wife, Mrs. Nannie S. Wallace, Praireville, two daughters, Sandra Gultreau and Carol Carpenter, both of St. Amant; two sons, the Rev. Richard Wallace, Hickory, Miss., and Darrell Wallace, North City, Tenn.; three sisters,, Mertie Belle Rollinson Me Rouge, Sadie Walker, Minden and Martha Watson, Monroe; a brother, Douglas Wallace, Bradford, Ark; three grandchildren, Benjamin Keith and April Guitreau, both of St Amant, and Brandy Wallace, Hickory, Miss. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers, and two sisters. He was a member of Anticoh Missionary Baptist Church.

Leroy Wallace and Nannie (Ann) Maezella Short had the following children:
