Joyce died August 3, 2001 in Hot Springs, Fall River Co., SD. OBIT: Joyce V. Derflinger, 69, Hermosa, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs.
Survivors include her mother, Virginia Hullinger; two sons, Casey Derflinger, Hot Springs, and Shane Derflinger, Loveland, Colo.; one daughter, Desiree Swett, Evansville, Wyo.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Rooks-McColley Funeral Chapel in Hot Springs.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Congregational Church in Hermosa, with the Rev. Barb Gammeter officiating.
Burial will follow at Hermosa Cemetery. l
She married twice. She married Marvin Derflinger. She married Robert Mackey.
Joyce Virginia Preston and Marvin Derflinger had the following children:
