He was preceded in death by his father, Golden Moss Allgood; mother, Frances Montine White Allgood; brother, David Walter “Buddy” Allgood; sister, Doris Helen Allgood Holtzclaw; and daughter, Francis “Fran” Allgood. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Kathleen Cummings; niece, Kathy Allgood Gravitt and her husband, Michael Gravitt; great niece, Nicole Gravitt; great nephew, Derek Gravitt; nephew, Scott Holtzclaw and Tony DiMaio; aunts, Annie Kate Brogdon Allgood and Essie Allgood; and several cousins and friends. Mr. Allgood was born January 16, 1942 in Buford, GA. He was retired from Breedlove Insulation in Buford, GA. He was a member of West Buford Baptist Church. A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for family and friends. There will be no funeral service.
