Frank died May 20, 2011 in Muncie, Delaware Co., IN. OBIT: Frank M. Allgood, 81, went home to be with the Lord at 12:38 am Friday, May 20, 2011, in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. He was born in Bloomington, the son of the late Clifford and Mabel (Ragsdale) Allgood.
He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1947 and married Sylvia Younts on April 28, 1973.
Mr. Allgood attended the First Community Church, Matthews, enjoyed painting scenic pictures, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; seven daughters, Diana (Rick) Boyle, Bloomington, Darlene Rusk, Stinesville, Lorretta (Tom) Rice, Bloomfield, Lorraine (Brick) Compton, Bloomfield, Ginny Moore, Connersville, Peggy (Mike) Brown, Fairmount, and Pam (Paul) Soultz, Fairmount; two brothers, Raymond (Thelma) Allgood, and Jim Allgood, both of Bloomington; one sister, Nancy (Forrest) Moore, Bloomington; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and the boy he never had, Allen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, John, Phillip, and Joe, and one sister, Doris.
Funeral Service: 10 am Monday, May 23, 2011, Jones-Smith Funeral Home, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana.
Visitation: 2-6 pm Sunday, May 22, 2011, Jones-Smith Funeral Home, 259 N. Main St., Upland, Indiana.

Interment: Matthews Cemetery, Matthews, Indiana
He married twice. He married Mary Berdine Koontz 1950. Mary was born June 2, 1930. Mary was the daughter of Clifford C Koontz and Gladys Dickinson. Mary died October 1, 2019 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., IN. He married Sylvia Louisse Younts April 28,1973 in Muncie, Delaware Co. IN. Sylvia was born September 1, 1946. Sylvia was the daughter of Everette William Younts and Virginia Mae Stewart. Sylvia died October, 17, 2024 in Metthews, IN.
