William died July 1985 in Brookfield, Linn Co., MO. OBIT: William was the son of William Henry and Lula Pearl (Mathews) Lewis. He married Eunice Wright first and they had two children. On November 18, 1942 he married Doris Maxine Ripley and they had one child. Surviving are his wife, Doris, his children, William Ronald Lewis, Doris Jean Mosleu, and Billyy Joe Lewis, two sisters, Alice Mace, and Celena Smith, a step mother, Mary Willard, a half sister Mary Opal Lewis, two half brothers, William Thomas Lewis, and Terry Lewis.
He married twice. He married Eunior Irene Wright August 10, 1929 in Brookfield, Linn Co., MO. He married Doris Maxine Ripley November 18,1942. Doris was born September 6, 1922 in Unionville, Putnam Co, MO. Doris was the daughter of Orville Ripley and Edna Bell Thompson. Doris died May 19, 2014 in Brookfield, Linn Co., MO. OBIT: Edna was the d/o Orville and Edna (Thompson) Ripley. On Nov. 18, 1942 she married William Lewis who preceded her in death July 29, 1985.
She is survived by one son, Bill Lewis and wife Sarah, two step-children, Doris Mosley, and William (Ronnie) Lewis, and wife Pat, several grandchildren, one sister Erma Rulon, two brothers, Donald and wife Margie Ripley and Dorman Ripley and wife Pat.
She was preceded in death by four grandchildren, Terry Mosley, David Mosley, Ronnie Dean Mosley, and Michael Lewis, one sister, Helen Bryan, and two brothers, Joe and Harold Ripley.
