He went to his heavenly father and new home. He was born May 17, 1923, in Owensboro and retired from G.E. after 34 years as a mechanic. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines. He was a member of Curdsville Baptist Church where he served as deacon for several years. Adley enjoyed teaching Sunday school and other church activities.
