He married Mary Alice Bybee.

James Wilkerson Leisure and Mary Alice Bybee had the following children:

 5071 i. Nancy Irene⁹ Leisure was born in Manchester, Grant Co., OK October 11, 1900. Nancy died August 1977 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS. She married George Ferdeand Thomas December 23, 1923 in Anthony, Harper Co., KS. George was born February 6, 1901 in Grant Co., OK. George died December 1979 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co, KS.

 5072 ii. Jewel Frances Leisure was born Septembe 21, 1903.

 5073 iii. Walter John Leisure was born October 29, 1905.

 5074 iv. James Robert Leisure was born 1910.

 5075 v. Pauline L. Leisure (living).
