Roger died May 7, 2011 in Panther, KY. OBIT: Roger C.(Bubby) Allgood, 91, of Panther, Ky. died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at this home. He was born August 9, 1919 in Daviess County to the late Grover C. Allgood and Florence Wall Allgood. He was a self-employed carpenter and was an MP in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church and board member of Moselyville Fire Department for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover C. Allgood and Florence Wall Allgood; his brother, Bill Allgood, and sister, Mary Ruth Augustine. Surviving are his wife, Alberta Crabtree Allgood, his daughter, Kathy Allgood Hudson(Rickey) of Panther, Ky.; grandson, Brad Hudson(Rebecca) of Owensboro, Ky.; great-grandson, Zach Hudson; great-granddaughters, Amanda Mason and JaLynn Hudson; and sister, Josephine Vanover of Owensboro. Services will be 1:00pm. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8pm. and Tuesday 11 to 1pm. at the funeral home. Reverend Jason Mayfield will be officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Fork Cemetery in Panther, Ky.
He married Alberta Christine Crabtree. Alberta was born April 22, 1930 in Daviess Co., KY. Alberta was the daughter of Herman Crabtree and Christine Beaven (__). Alberta died March 18, 2018 in Owensburg, Daviees Co., KY.
