Rickie died July 5, 2006 in Shepherdsville, Bullitt Co., KY. OBIT: BRUCE, RICKIE CHARLES, 52, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Rickie was born on April 6, 1954 in Louisville. He was a retired employee of Navistar where he worked for 16 years and a member of U.A.W. Local #98 and Knob Creek Union Church. His mother, Josephine Miller Bruce, and a brother, Harry L. Bruce Jr., preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Timothy A. Bruce of Louisville and Cody B. Bruce of Vine Grove; his father, Harry L. Bruce Sr. of Shepherdsville; a granddaughter, Haley Michelle Mumford in Brandenburg; a nephew, Danny Bruce and a niece, Lisa Irvin, both of Shepherdsville. The funeral service for Rickie will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2006, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Rev. James Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Knob Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 p.m., Sunday from noon-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Monday. Published in The Courier-Journal on July 8, 2006
