She was born November 9, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Bennie Ray and Emogene Campbell Allgood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Hartley;a son, Ronald Edward Hartley; a brother, Edward Earl Allgood; and grandsons, James Ray Kellems Jr. and Danny Hartley.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Kellems, Kathy (Tom) Vessels and Mike Hartley, all of Payneville, and Bobby (Diana) Hartley of Vine Grove; nine grandchildren; and nine and a half great-grandchildren.
She was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Campbell. She was a member of St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia, Kentucky; the Altar Society; and was a loving mother, housewife, and friend. She loved crosswords, shopping and visiting with friends.
Funeral services were held January 1, 2014 at St. Theresa Church, with Father Bob Abel officiating. Burial followed in St. Theresa Church cemetery in Rhodelia, Kentucky.
She married Francis (Fank) Edward Hartley November 9, 1946. Francis was born August 6, 1925 in Meade Co., KY. Francis was the son of Richard Franicis Hartley and Anna Josephine King. Francis died April 28, 1997 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY.
