Thelma¹¹ Hill (Clara C.¹⁰ Wood, Nancy E.⁹ Byrd, Nancy Ann⁸ Allgood, John W.⁷, Holwell Edward⁶, John Young⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Covington, Newton Co., GA June 28, 1920. Thelma died May 15, 2006 in Alpharetta, Fulton Co., GA. OBIT: Thelma Hill Rainwater passed away May 15, 2006 in Alpharetta, Ga., after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Covington City Cemetery with Rev. John Whatley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Rainwater was born in 1920 in Covington, Ga. She was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women and was formerly a teacher of English and French. Mrs. Rainwater had resided in Augusta since 1964. She was the widow of the late B.W. Rainwater of Georgia Power Company. Mrs. Rainwater was formerly a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Augusta Country Club. She was also a member of the Flower Study Garden Club. Survivors include a son, William W. Rainwater and wife Debra, of Alpharetta; daughter, Julie Jennings and husband, Bill, of Augusta, Ga., and one brother, Nat Hill of Athens, Ga.

Thelma and Billy are both buried in the Southview Cemetery, Covington, Newton Co., GA Covington Newton County

She married Billy Warren Rainwater. Billy was born May 2, 1921. Billy died December 25, 1993 in Augusta, Richmond Co., GA.

Thelma Hill and Billy Warren Rainwater had the following children:
