Mrs. Davis was born in Roswell and a member of Atlanta Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Hugh D. Davis; son, Hugh Kenneth Davis; brothers, W. A. (Bill) Abernathy, Henry Abernathy, Herbert Abernathy and Franklin Abernathy; sister Jeanette DeLong..
Mrs. Davis is survived by her brother Eugene Abernathy and his wife Peggy of Alpharetta; sister-in-law Leola Abernathy of LaGrange; brother-in-law Ralph DeLong of Roswell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 26 at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell, with Rev. Carl Jameson and Rev. Jack Hardeman to officiate. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, also in Roswell.
