Clyde died August 25, 2005 in Littleton, Halifax Co., NC. OBIT: Clyde G. Wynne, 69, formerly of Durham, died at his home Thursday, August 25, 2005, in Eaton Ferry Estates. Mr. Wynne was born June 15, 1936, in Franklin County, the son of the late Jimmy and Eunice Wynne. He was a retired plumber and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Durham. His brother, Carlton Wynne, preceded him in death. Mr. Wynne is survived by his wife, Nona Wagner Wynne, of the home; three daughters, Betty Jane Wynne Swenson and husband, Clark, of Ann Arbor, Mich., Joyce Wynne Hielema, of Oxford, Janet Wynne Laws, of Rougemont; four sisters, Elizabeth Garrard, of Hillsborough, Linda Ennis and husband, Jesse, of Rougemont, Faye Taylor and husband, Bill, of Timberlake, Jackie Cannon and husband, Tony, of High Point; and one brother, Robert Wynne and wife, Mary Ann, of Durham. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Daniel Austin and wife, Jennifer, of Roxboro, Justin Faucette, of Charlotte, Alissa Swenson, of Ann Arbor, Mich., Kyle Swenson, of Ann Arbor, Mich., Heidi Laws, of Rougemont, Burnice Laws Jr., of Rougemont, and one great-grandchild, Carmen Trembly. The family will receive friends at the home in Eaton Ferry Estates. A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Durham on Pleasant Green Rd., Wednesday, August 31, 2005, at 11 a.m.
