Mrs. Eaves was born in Halifax County, the daughter of the late James Haywood Liles and Eva Mae Mohorn Liles. Mrs. Eaves was the widow of Coy Jackson Eaves and was retired from the Eaves Insurance Agency in Richmond. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Lassiter Karim. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Dawson Eaves-Haufler of Midlothian, Va.; a stepdaughter, Susan Moore of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Lillian Wood of Roanoke Rapids and Elaine Gee of South Hill, Va.; and four grandchildren, Jerome Stephen Karin of Richmond, Robert Jackson Haufler and Zoe Mae Haufler, both of Midlothian, and Molly Moore of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, at Tabor United Methodist Church in Littleton, with the Rev. Tom Smith and the Rev. Stan Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
