James died August 30, 2004 in Hampton, Hampton Co., VA. OBIT: James 'Jim' A. Gooch passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2004. Born in Dinwiddie, Va., he had been a Hampton resident for 43 years. Jim is survived by his wife, Jeanette S. Gooch; son, James A. Gooch Jr. of Gleason, Wis.; daughter, Juanita Jones of Yorktown; sister, Helen G. Hart of Sandston, Va.; and 11 grandchildren. Jim's life will be celebrated 2 p.m. Saturday at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton by Pastor Dale Miller. Immediately following, the family will receive friends until 3 p.m.
