Gregory died April 11, 2013 in Franklin Co., NC. OBIT: Gregory S. Stallings, 57, of Franklinton, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer, at his home while surrounded by his family and friends. Greg was born February 7, 1956 to Mamie Smith Joyner and the late Walter Douglas Stallings, Jr. He loved his family, golf, Harley Davidsons, and was an avid Florida Gator. Greg was employed as a project developer for Trane Commercial Systems for 18 years.
Funeral services will be held Sunday April 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel with Rev. Ricky Mill officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Greg is survived by his daughters, Jessica Lauren Stallings, Savanah Renee Stallings; his son, Hunter Gregory Stallings; his fiancé Laurie DeDi of Franklinton; his brothers, Gene Stallings and his wife, Judy and David Stallings all of Raleigh; and his sister, Patricia Joyner Wallace and her husband, Ronnie of Sandersville, GA.
