Pattie died January 9, 2015 in Lawrenceville, Brunswick Co., VA. OBIT: Mrs. Pattie Lee Watson, age 89 of South Hill, died Friday, January 9, 2015 at Envoy of Lawrenceville. She was a homemaker and babysitter of many children. She was predeceased by her brother James T. Allgood, and sister Ethel A. Watson.

She was the widow of A. Omar Watson and is survived by her daughter Patricia W. Parrish (Allen) of South Hill, her son Wayne E. Watson (Bonnie) of Durham, N.C., her brother Chambers Allgood of Baskerville, a sister Ann Harris of Baskerville, two granddaughters Tanya Watson of South Hill and Terry Donat’ of Clayton, N.C., two grandsons Shane Parrish (Heather) of Midlothian and Mark Parrish (Alana) of Huntersville, N.C., five great grandchildren Courtney Skudlark (Ray), Carson, Andrew, Brackton and Trey.

A graveside funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 12 at Crestview Memorial Park. The family received friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory.

She married Allie Omar Watson May 31, 1947 in Mecklenburg Co, VA. Allie was born October 26, 1919. Allie was the son of Jones Watson and Carolyn Callis. Allie died October 27, 2011 in Mecklenburg Co, VA. OBIT: Mr. Allie Omar Watson, age 92, of South Hill, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011 in the W. S. Hundley Center.

He was a retired machinist with Brodnax Mills, a former employee of Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in South Hill and a World War II U. s. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pattie Lee Watson, his daughter, Patricia W. Parrish and husband, Allen, of south Hill; his son Wayne Earl Watson and wife, Bonnie, of Durham, N. C.; two granddaughters, Tanya Watson of Oxford, N. C. and Theresa Donat of Clayton, N. C.; two grandsons, Shane Parrish and wife, Heather of Midlothian and Mark Parish and wife, Alana of Huntersville, N. C., five great grandchildren, Courtney, Carson, Andrew, Brackton and Trey.

He was predeceased by six brothers: Leslie, Floyd, Roy, Johnnie, Wilson and twin brother, Otis, and four sisters, Lottie Allen, Daisey Watson, Gaynell Evans and Irene Eastwood.

A graveside funeral service was conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. in Crestview Memorial Park. The family received friends Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory.

Pattie Lee Allgood and Allie Omar Watson had the following children:
