Samuel William Forrester and Mae Briscoe had the following children:
9989 i. Frances Virginia10 Forrester was born Walton Co., GA June 3, 1916. Frances died September 18, 1912 in Charleston, Charleston Co., SC. OBIT: Frances Virginia Forrester was born June 3, 1916, in Walton County, GA, and died September 18, 2012, in Charleston, SC.
She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and was an active member of North Charleston United Methodist Church.
Frances was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College and the University of Georgia. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies, and was a charter and honorary member of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants.
After retiring and moving to North Charleston, she volunteered at Trident Medical Center for 14 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel William and Mae Briscoe Forrester; her sister, Matilda F. Dunston; and her brother-in-law, John B. Dunston. She is survived by her nieces, Judith D. Epps (George) North Charleston, SC; Sara D. Hollander (Paul) Jacksonville, FL; and Ginger D. Hill (Craig E.) Puyallup, WA; great nieces and nephews Angela Rogers, Jennifer Fishburne, Jonathan Epps, Beth Tache;, Laura Kaufmann, Craig D. Hill, Amie Godinez, and John Hill; and 16 great-great nieces and nephews. Francenia Aiken was her devoted friend and caregiver, as well as Mattie Washington.
Services to celebrate her life will be at North Charleston United Methodist Church, September 19, 2012, at 5:00 PM. Interment will be at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
9990 ii. Matilda F. Forrester was born in Walton Co, GA March 14, 1920. Matilda died February 9, 2000 in Charleston Co., SC. She married John Burns Dunston. John was born November 14, 1913 in Birmingham, Jefferson Co, AL. John died August 11, 1983 in Charleston, Charleston Co., SC.
9991 iii. Beulah Grace Forrester was born in Walton Co, GA September 28, 1923. Beulah died October 6, 1923 in Walton Co, GA.
