He married Lois Mildred Honican December 31, 1933 in Ashland, Boyd Co., KY. Lois was born August 16, 1916 in Paris, Bourbon Co., KY. Lois was the daughter of Mora Homican and Ethel Lucille Wheeler. Lois died July 6, 1988 in Lexington, Fayette Co., KY.

Robert Andrrew Keeton and Lois Mildred Honican had the following children:
