Robert died January 3,2014 in Wake Co., NC. OBIT: Robert William "Bob" Faulkner, 78, of 622 Raymond Drive, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Hospice House.

Bob was born in Vance County on December 1, 1935 to the late William Green Faulkner and Mamie Edwards Faulkner. He served his country in the U.S. Army and obtained the trade as a Tool and Die Maker. He worked in his trade for over 50 years and retired as the owner of Trico Machining and Fabrication Co.

A Service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 6, 2014 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 with Dr. Baxter Prevatte officiating. The family will visit prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years: Catherine Watkins Faulkner, daughters: Cindy F. Ferguson (Mike) of Richmond, VA, and Patricia F. Hodge of Wendell; grandchildren: Scott Barry and Serenity Evans; and a sister: Juanita F. Harris (Chip) of Kittrell.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother John T. "J.T." Faulkner.

Robert William Falkner and Rosa Catherine Watkins had the following children:
