Margaret died February 23, 2013 in Manchester, Carroll Co., MD. OBIT: Margaret Lucille Jackson, 64, of Manchester, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at home, after a long battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 6, 1948, in Prineville, Ore., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel Hatley Moffitt. She was the wife of Richard W. Jackson, who died in 2003.
She graduated with the class of 1966 from Wahtonka High School in Oregon. She was a longtime resident of The Dalles, Ore., where she worked in bus transportation as a transport supervisor for 25 years.
She enjoyed fishing, cooking and traveling in her recreational vehicle. She was known for sense of humor and generousity.
Surviving are fiance William "Bill" Redmer, of Manchester; a daughter, Tiia L. McLemore, of The Dalles; sisters Sharon Brock of Hermiston, Ore., Katherine Gardipee of The Dalles, and Barbara Barnes, of Benton City, Wash.; and grandsons Kobe and Kaden McLemore of The Dalles.
She was predeceased by a son, Richard W. Jackson.
She married Wobert Wayne Jackson.
Margaret Lucille Moffitt and Wobert Wayne Jackson had the following children:
