Rosalie died December 24, 2009 in Chillicothe, Livingston Co., MO. OBIT: Rosalie Jacobs, age 85, of Chillicothe, formerly of Brookfield, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Morningside Center in Chillicothe. A funeral service will be Monday, December 28, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield with Elder Joan Sweets officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday and the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service. Memorials to Morningside Activity Fund may be left at or mailed to Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628. Rosalie, daughter of Harry and Alta (Hull) Lewis, was born July 29, 1924, in Brookfield. On October 22, 1954, she married Ottice Odean Jacobs who preceded her in death June 25, 2003. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Brookfield. Survivors include one daughter, Harri Ann Melte and husband, Eugene of Chillicothe; one son, Gary Jacobs and wife, Brenda of Brookfield; two granddaughters, Jessica Pitts and husband, Kevin of Sanford, Florida and Chance Jacobs of Brookfield; and two great-grandchildren, Chandler Jacobs of Brookfield and Xander Pitts of Sanford, Florida. Her parents and one brother, Richard "Dick" Lewis, also preceded her in death.
She married twice. She married Virgil Eugene Logue. Virgil was born February 16,1924 in Marceline, Linn Co., MO. Virgil was the son of Frederick T Logue and Edith Mae David. Virgil died April 20, 1953 in Sullivan Co., MO. She married Ottice Odean Jacobs October 22,1954 in Brookfield, Linn Co., MO. Ottice was born August 21, 1921. Ottice died June 25,2003 in Chillicothe, Livingston Co., MO.
