She married William N. (Bill) Hannel April 6, 1935. William was born Novmber 25,1910 in Hillview, Greene Co., IL. William was the son of Louie Hannel and Ada Jones. William died July 2, 2004 in Pleasant Hill, Pikw Xo., IL. OBIT: William Hannel, 93, of Pleasant Hill Nursing Center and formerly of Nebo, died Friday, July 2, 2004, at the Pleasant Hill Nursing Center. He was born Nov. 25, 1910 in Hillview to Louis and Ada Jones Hannel. He married Mildred P. Durall April 6, 1935 in Pittsfield. She died Aug. 15, 1991. Mr. Hannel was a retired laborer for Union Local 253 in Jacksonville. He was a member of Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, Lee Hannel Sr.; two sisters, Sue Gresham and Margaret Phillips; and a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Irma Hannel. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 6, at 1 p.m. at the Ward-Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill with Brother Don Hannel officiating. Burial was at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.

48343 ii. Ronald G. Hannel was born in Pike Co., IL November 30, 1946. Ronald died December 4, 2014 in Bethalto, Madison Co., IL. OBIT: Ronald “Ronnie” G. Hannel, of Bethalto, IL passed peacefully in his home on December 4, 2014. He had just celebrated his 68th birthday. Ronnie was born on November 30, 1946 to parents William & Mildred Durall Hannel in Pike County, IL. He worked at Laclede Steel, Reed’s farm, Sny Island Levy Drainage District, and retired from Schwann’s in 2008. Ronnie was a devoted father and grandfather. He could be found cheering on his grandchildren at their ballgames, at the park with his little princess or playing pinochle at the Senior Center in Bethalto. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Billy & Irma Hannel. Ronnie is survived by 2 daughters and a son. Grandpa Hannel will be missed deeply by 7 grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill.
