She married James Louis Phipps March 13 1879. James was born June 4, 1860 in Breckinridge Co., KY. James was the son of William Phipps and Mary Sosh. James died June 29, 1941 in KY. James and Mary are buried in the Old Basham Cemetery, Hudson, Breckinridge Co., KY
